I mentioned a little house finch who is nesting by our back door on the light. It has been fun to watch her when I do anything around that side of the house. She pokes her little head up and looks intently at me to make sure that I don't do anything dangerous to her. Once in a while she will fly to a nearby tree and watch me until I leave. Near as I can tell she laid her eggs last Monday and they should hatch in another week or so. I am looking forward to see the babies. Now that I think on it a bit, I love watching birds. I guess I love the fact that they can fly and I want to also. More later.
